Q. What is France’s response following the expulsion of British diplomats by Belarus?

A. France stands in solidarity with the United Kingdom and deplores the expulsion of two of its diplomats on November 9 by the Belarus authorities. We will continue, together with our European partners, to call for an inclusive national dialogue between the authorities and civil society in order to ensure that the democratic aspirations that have been expressed for three months now in Belarus are taken into consideration.
