EU – Chrysoula Zacharopoulou’s participation in the Foreign Affairs Council (Development) (Brussels, 28 November 2022)

Chrysoula Zacharopoulou, Minister of State for Development, Francophonie and International Partnerships, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, is in Brussels for today’s Foreign Affairs Council, in its development configuration.

The Minister of State will emphasize how important it is for all partners to follow up on the EU-African Union summit held in February 2022 under the French presidency of the EU Council. She will stress our commitment to ensuring that the partnership between Europe and Africa is based on concrete projects.

The minister of state will reaffirm France and its European partners’ unwavering commitment to responding to crisis situations, notably in support of Ukraine. She will bring up the conference in support of Ukraine to be held on December 13 at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, at the initiative of Presidents Macron and Zelensky.
