On Tuesday 4 September, Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, will visit the United Arab Emirates. He will have a meeting with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to exchange views on regional and bilateral issues. The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs will then visit the French lycée Louis Massignon, one of the French teaching network’s six institutions in the United Arab Emirates, to meet the school community as a whole and wish it success at the start of the new school year. Finally, he will visit Masdar City, a smart and sustainable city where French businesses are contributing to the United Arab Emirates’ commitment to developing green energy and to the fight against climate change.
