Replenishment of the Ukraine fund: €71 million raised as part of the call for projects open until 9 april 2026 (19 february 2026)
Roland Lescure, Minister for the Economy, Finance and Industrial, Energy and Digital Sovereignty, Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, and Nicolas Forissier, Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness of France announce the Ukraine Fund II, the replenishment of the support fund for critical infrastructure and priority sectors of the Ukrainian economy.
Created in 2024 through a bilateral agreement between the French and Ukrainian governments, the fund has already financed 19 projects carried out by French companies in strategic sectors. These initiatives directly address the population’s practical, urgent needs and the country’s resilience in the face of the conflict.
With the fund’s replenishment for a second phase, the Ukraine Fund II, which is endowed with €71 million for 2026, France reaffirms its continued, wholehearted commitment to the economy’s resilience and the reconstruction of Ukraine.
Companies are mobilizing their expertise in essential sectors:
- Essential services: health, water, irrigation and sanitation, waste treatment, housing;
- Strategic autonomy: infrastructure, energy, agriculture;
- Security and recovery: mine clearance, infrastructure and digital technology.
Other sectors of intervention may be examined on a case-by-case basis.
The Government is inviting French businesses to become stakeholders in Ukraine’s reconstruction, through a call for projects until 9 April 2026. Projects co-financed and promoted by companies demonstrating their intention of establishing themselves in the country immediately and for the long term will be prioritized.
Through this initiative, France confirms its unconditional support for Ukraine and reiterates that it is working to build a future for Ukraine with its European partners according to an agenda of peace, security and shared prosperity.
