Israel / Palestinian Territories: Violent attack on Palestinians by West Bank settlers (June 26, 2025)

France condemns the repeated attacks on Palestinians by Israeli settlers in the West Bank. Over the past few days, four Palestinians were killed in the towns of Kafr Malik, near Ramallah, and Surif, near Hebron.

France calls on the Israeli government to take decisive action to end the violence perpetrated by extremist settlers.

France reiterates its condemnation of settlement activity and its strong opposition to any form of annexation.

At the national level, France has adopted 59 individual sanctions against extremist settlers who have engaged in violence against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank.
