Gaza – Situation of our nationals (1 November 2023)

A first group of five French humanitarian workers was able to leave Gaza today via the Rafah crossing. The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs’ services are working actively, in conjunction with our partners, to ensure that all our compatriots and staff and their dependants who so wish can leave Gaza as soon as possible. Our consulate general in Jerusalem is in constant touch with them.

We call on all the stakeholders concerned to facilitate this safe departure. We reiterate our call for all civilians in Gaza to be protected.
