France takes note of the advisory opinion delivered by the International Court of Justice on the obligations of Israel regarding humanitarian assistance and cooperation with the UN in Palestine. France reaffirms its full commitment to international law and to the essential role played by the ICJ, the principal judicial organ of the United Nations.

France calls on Israel to fulfill its obligations under international humanitarian law, as recalled by the ICJ. France urges Israel to remove any obstacles to the massive, immediate, unhindered delivery and distribution of humanitarian aid so that the populations in Gaza and the West Bank can gain access to essential everyday products and services, namely water, food, clothing, bedding, shelter and fuel, as well as medical supplies and medications. France urges Israel to cooperate with the UN, including the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). France reaffirms the importance for all parties of fully implementing the ceasefire agreement, including its humanitarian components, in order to meet the needs of the populations in the enclave.
