Cambodia/Thailand – Border clashes (July 24, 2025)

France expresses its deep concern following armed clashes on the border between Cambodia and Thailand on July 24, which left several people dead. We offer their loved ones our heartfelt condolences.

France calls on Cambodia and Thailand to stop the fighting immediately and to resolve their disputes in a peaceful manner, in accordance with international law.
France urges its citizens to avoid traveling to the border area. Travelers who are already there are asked to leave as quickly as possible and may check in with our Embassies.
