Terrorism - 50th anniversary of the attack on Israeli athletes in Munich (5 September 2022)

Fifty years ago, terrorism struck at the heart of the Munich Olympic Games, killing 11 of the Israeli athletes and a German police officer. With terrorism now affecting all countries, France reaffirms its wholehearted solidarity with the bereaved. It will go on making active efforts alongside its partners to continue support for victims of terrorism and their loved ones. France will also continue to fight relentlessly and with unwavering determination against those who want to spread terror on its soil and elsewhere.
