Venezuela – Release of Lucas Hunter (July 21, 2025)

France was relieved to learn of the release of our compatriot Lucas Hunter, a French-American citizen who had been detained in Venezuela since January 2025.

France hails the U.S. State Department’s efforts to obtain his release.
