Statement - Entry of the United Kingdom into the Defence Export Control Agreement (16 décember 2025)
On 5 December 2025, the United Kingdom joined the Defence Export Control Agreement, which since 2021 has included France, Germany and Spain.
We welcome this integration, which contributes to strengthening industrial cooperation between partners in the defence sector. The agreement also aims to reduce the administrative burden on the control of exports of defence-related products in order to ensure the success of their joint programmes and to facilitate industrial partnerships between the States Parties and their defence exports.
