Is there a visit to France scheduled with the president of the United Arab Emirates, Sheik Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, who could volunteer to serve as an intermediary in negotiations between Russia and Western countries, following his meeting with President Vladimir Putin in Saint Petersburg today? Are any negotiations on the horizon?

Our position has been clear since the start of the invasion: negotiations to end the war of aggression against Ukraine will only be able to take place at the time and under the conditions of the Ukrainians’ choosing.
