Tanzania – Meeting between Jean-Yves Le Drian and his counterpart (Paris, 18 February 2021)

Jean-Yves le Drian, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, met today with John Kabudi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of Tanzania, who was visiting Paris.

This visit is an endorsement of the high-quality bilateral relationship between France and Tanzania, reflected by increased commitment to the country, the intensification of our exchanges with respect to academic and agroecological cooperation, and our trade and economic ties.

During this meeting, the minister underscored the importance of Tanzania’s role in East Africa, notably with respect to regional integration and the fight against terrorism.
