Poland – Incursion of Russian drones into Polish airspace (September 10, 2025)

France condemns in the strongest possible terms last night’s unacceptable entry of Russian drones into Polish airspace as part of Russia’s latest attack in its war of aggression against Ukraine.

France expresses its friendship and heartfelt solidarity with the Polish people and authorities in keeping with the spirit of the Nancy Treaty signed on May 9.

Russia’s latest irresponsible escalation is a flagrant violation of international law. Our allies’ security is our priority and must be guaranteed. This event shows yet again that Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine is a threat to the security of Europe and NATO as a whole.
