Niger - Communique issued by the ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (30, July 2023)

France condemns all violence against diplomatic premises, whose security is the responsibility of the host State.

Niger’s forces have an obligation to ensure the security of our diplomatic and consular premises under the Vienna Conventions. We urge them to fulfil this obligation imposed on them by international law.
