Myanmar – Death of two French nationals (31 March 2025)

We were saddened to learn of the death of two French nationals in the earthquake that struck Myanmar and Thailand on March 28. We send our condolences to their families and loved ones.

France’s embassies in Rangoon and Bangkok are fully mobilized and closely monitoring the situation, together with the Crisis and Support Center of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
