Mexico – Meeting between Franck Riester and the economy minister and the undersecretary for foreign trade (video conference, 22 March 2021)

Franck Riester, Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, will meet with Tatiana Clouthier Carrillo, Mexico’s Economy Minister and Luz María de la Mora Sánchez, Mexico’s Undersecretary for Foreign Trade on March 22.

The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss French-Mexican bilateral economic and trade relations, and notably to review various French projects in Mexico in the energy, infrastructure and health sectors. Mexico is one of France’s largest trading partners in Latin America and more than 550 French firms operate in the country.

Mr. Riester and Ms. Clouthier Carrillo will also discuss the modernization of the EU-Mexico Global Agreement, as well as WTO developments and our two countries’ priorities within the G20.
