France’s relations with Liechtenstein are cordial, though limited. Liechtenstein’s exports to France totalled CHF 305 million in 2013.
Imports from France totalled CHF 40 million.
Liechtenstein-based companies employ nearly 2,500 people in France. The main companies that have trade relations with France are: Hilti, Intamin, Ivoclar Vivadent AG, Swarovski and ThyssenKrupp Presta AG.
France is represented in Liechtenstein by its Ambassador to Switzerland.
An agreement on the exchange of tax information was signed by France and Liechtenstein in Vaduz on 22 September 2009 and entered into force on 19 August 2010.
