Israel – Lebanon (6 August 2021)

France is concerned about the growing tensions between Lebanon and Israel along the Blue Line, in the wake of the rocket attacks since July 20.

It calls on all parties to uphold the cessation of hostilities, to prevent any violations of the Blue Line, to comply fully with the relevant Security Council resolutions, and to cooperate with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), which plays a key role in preventing any escalation on the ground.
