Kuwait – France condemns the execution of 7 people (16 November 2022)

France condemns Kuwait’s execution of seven people today.

France reaffirms its unwavering opposition to the death penalty everywhere and in all circumstances. France remains resolutely committed to the universal abolition of this unjust, inhumane, ineffective punishment.

We call on all nations that still apply the death penalty to place it under a moratorium ahead of its ultimate abolition.
