Germany – Magdeburg Christmas market attack (21 December 2024)

France utterly condemns the attack perpetrated on the evening of Friday 20 December 2024 at the Christmas market in Magdeburg, the capital of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, which resulted in many casualties.

France extends its condolences to the bereaved, and the German people and Government. It stands with Germany in fighting all forms of violent extremism.
