France condemns in the strongest possible terms today’s attack on a UN World Food Programme convoy in North Kivu, in the eastern DRC, which left several dead, including Luca Attanasio, Italy’s ambassador to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
It offers its most heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of those who died and wishes those injured a speedy recovery. It reaffirms the importance of preserving humanitarian efforts and the security of humanitarian workers.
