Cultural exchanges

A new and never-before-seen relationship between Africa and France is proposed in the field of culture with the 2020 Africa Season. It will create a new shared creative world through a series of events in which people in France can discover African contemporary creative works. It will also provide an opportunity for French and African artists, philosophers and designers to collaborate on projects.

With regard to the return of African cultural goods, the goal is for African youth to be able to view their own heritage in Africa and common heritage of humanity on different supports. This is the overriding intention of renewed cultural discussions that President Macron mentioned in his speech in Ouagadougou.
