Since the French President's Ouagadougou speech in 2017, France has begun a new chapter in the history of its relations with Africa's countries: a partnership of equals based on three criteria: Balance;Reciprocity;Responsibility. In March 2023, the President visited Central Africa, including Gabon, Angola, Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. That visit was another opportunity to jointly forge genuine new partnerships with African countries.
