Bestowal of the “Minister of the Year” award upon Laurent Fabius by “Le Trombinoscope” magazine (Paris, February 3, 2016)

Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development, will receive the “Minister of the Year” award presented by “Le Trombinoscope” magazine this evening at the Senate.

This prize recognizes the role played by Laurent Fabius in his position in 2015, and notably his efforts to ensure the success of the Paris Climate Conference in his capacity as COP21 president.

He will be receiving this award just as the MAEDI 21 project to modernize the Quai d’Orsay is getting underway. This project, which was launched by Laurent Fabius during Ambassadors’ Week in August, is aimed at overhauling our diplomatic tool so that it can fulfill all of its missions more effectively.
