Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, Minister Delegate for Tourism, French Nationals Abroad and Francophonie, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, and Minister Delegate for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, attached to the Minister of the Economy, Finance and Recovery, is opening the 35th session of the Assembly of French Nationals Abroad (AFE) meeting from December 14 to 17 both virtually and at the Ministerial Conference Center in Paris.

During this first session of the AFE term following the elections of December 4 and 5, the Assembly will establish its office and determine its new operating methods. The Assembly will elect its president from among its members as well as two vice presidents, and will determine its members’ committee assignments.

Mr. Lemoyne will address the Assembly’s opening work session. He will take stock, since the last Assembly session in March 2021, of public policies concerning French nationals abroad and will review the implementation of the plan to support our compatriots during the health crisis.
