As part of the celebrations to mark the 60th anniversary of the Treaties of Rome and the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus+ program, Nathalie Loiseau, Minister for European Affairs, will inaugurate the “European Union(s)” photo mural at the Montparnasse-Bienvenuë metro station on Thursday at 11.30 am.
This monumental 135-meter long mural honors 22 families formed through the Erasmus+ program, through images taken by Frédéric de la Mure, who has been the Quai d’Orsay’s photographer for 32 years.
It reflects our attachment to the Erasmus+ program, whose support for education, training, youth and sport, enables thousands of young Europeans to meet, get to know each other and connect with each other every year.
The mural is being exhibited through a partnership with RATP and will be on display along a connecting passageway in the station until the end of August.
