The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development participated in the 18th Rendez-vous de l’histoire festival in Blois from October 8 to 11. This year’s theme was “Empires.”
The Ministry moderated a round table featuring Helène Carrère d’Encausse, historians, and diplomats. It also had a stand at the history book fair, and presented a collection of diplomatic documents on the year 1941 that were just published by André Kaspi.
At the behest of Laurent Fabius, the Ministry will also continue its policy of making diplomatic documents available to the public at large, an initiative supported by Laurent Fabius.
