Jean-Marc Ayrault, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development, will meet with France’s ambassadors from Monday, August 29 to Friday, September 2.
This edition of “Ambassador’s Week” will be devoted to all aspects of security in France and its territories and Europe.
This week will provide an opportunity for France’s highest officials to establish the diplomatic priorities of the heads of diplomatic missions. It will enable the ambassadors to exchange views, as well as to engage in discussions with elected officials, experts and representatives of civil society and the private sector.
The conference will begin with a “speed dating” event, in the presence of the minister, involving meetings with representatives of SMEs, on Monday, August 29, and with a one-day event open to the public (Tuesday, August 30).
Jean-Marc Ayrault will take part in discussions with the ambassadors throughout the week and will bring the conference to a close on September 2. Numerous members of the government and parliament, local authority officials and foreign officials will take part in the discussions.
Ambassadors’ Week was awarded “Open Ministry” designation and is part of the national plan for transparent and collaborative public action.
