Cybersecurity – Failure of round of negotiations at the United Nations (29 June 2017)

France regrets the failure of the most recent round of negotiations on cybersecurity at the United Nations (5th Group of Governmental Experts).

We reaffirm our attachment to existing international law, in particular the Charter of the United Nations, as a basis for global peace and security in the digital age.

We invite all States to recognise the applicability of existing international law to their actions in cyberspace.
