Laurent Fabius delivered a speech on “Training excellence in the tourism sector: a key challenge for France” on October 16 at 10:00 am at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne.
This event is being organized by the association AsTRES, which brings together a dozen higher education institutions with recognized training programs and research in the field of tourism.
In his speech, Laurent Fabius underscored the need to increase the national and international visibility of our training programs. On October 8, during the first national tourism conference, he announced the creation of a “consortium to deliver quality training in tourism” in order to provide a more structured approach to our efforts.
In conjunction with efforts to improve the welcome extended to tourists, develop digital technologies and promote investment, training is one of the four main elements of the “carré du succès” [four keys to success] defined by Laurent Fabius on June 11.
