Tourism - Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne to participate in the virtual conference of the World Tourism Organization - Wine Tourism (9 September 2021)

On September 9, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, Minister of State for Tourism, French Nationals Abroad and Francophonie, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, will attend the Global Conference on Wine Tourism hosted jointly by Portugal and the World Tourism Organization. This event will bring together institutional actors and professionals from around the world to discuss new challenges facing the sector, specifically in the context of the health and economic crises.

The minister will underscore the importance of wine tourism, a sector that is highly strategic to France’s appeal, contributing to its worldwide influence and prestige and to the economic development of rural areas.
