On November 4, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development Jean-Marc Ayrault will speak at a seminar for permanents representatives to the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development in Nantes. It will also be attended by José Angel Gurría, the OECD’s secretary-general.
On November 5, the minister will go to Les Sables d’Olonne to inaugurate the Higher Tourism Institute. This reflects the priority Mr. Ayrault ascribes to bolstering French opportunities in the tourism professions.
He will also visit the OCEA naval shipyard. OCEA, a company specialized in designing and building aluminum-hulled ships, is a recognized expert in maritime security and safety, and 95% of its revenues come from exports.
Finally, on the eve of the 8th Vendée Globe, Mr. Ayrault will meet the organizers and skippers who are taking part in this non-stop solo three-month race around the world.
