On 3 June 2020, France will organize the Paris Food Forum, an international conference on the future of gastronomy and the role of food in French people’s daily lives.
The President of the French Republic wanted an innovative format which will convene over 500 world-renowned gastronomy stakeholders (Heads of State and Government, researchers, committed chefs and cooks, start-up leaders, producers and distributors) in order to discuss the future of gastronomy. Environmental, health and ethical issues relating to gastronomy and food will be among the topics addressed.
With a view to this event, on 17 December 2019, Mr Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, Minister of State attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, chaired the first meeting of the Paris Food Forum 2020 Scientific Committee in order to prepare the Forum’s work.
Mr Lemoyne will also chair the next meeting of the Scientific Committee on 24 March.
