Gastronomy - Goût de / Good France 2016 (January 28, 2016)


Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development, and chef Alain Ducasse presented the 1500 restaurants spread across five continents that will participate in the 2016 edition of Goût de / Good France on March 21.

Following the success of the first edition, the minister wanted to continue this initiative: every year, on March 21, French gastronomy and the values that it embodies will therefore be celebrated around the world. Our diplomatic network is mobilized: this year 150 ambassadors are hosting a dinner to showcase this theme.

Nearly a third of the tourists who come to France cite wine tasting and gastronomy as being among the main reasons for their choice of destination; Operation Goût de France therefore highlights the French art of living and regional products, while at the same time promoting France as a destination.
