Legion of Honor - Q&A from the press briefing (15 December 2020)

Q : Generally speaking, can our missions abroad be called upon to award the Legion of Honor to journalists who have been threatened?

R : When the Legion of Honor has been awarded to a leading figure, our heads of missions abroad can present insignia in accordance with the Code of the Legion of Honor, the Military Medal and the National Order of Merit. Journalists receive the Legion of Honor every year.
