European Parliament – Meeting between the Minister and European Parliament President Roberta Metsola (November 14, 2025)

Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot met with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola on Friday, November 14.

The Minister and the President primarily spoke about the legislative agenda and the main issues currently under discussion. They agreed on the importance of close co-legislator cooperation in facilitating fast progress.

The Minister and the President also reaffirmed their commitment to the European Parliament headquarters in Strasbourg. The Minister emphasized the French authorities’ ongoing investments in improving the working conditions of Members of the European Parliament and European officials in Strasbourg.
