European Union – Seminar of the French Ambassadors posted to the European space (31 August 2020)

On Monday, 31 August 2020, Mr Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, will convene the French Ambassadors posted to the European space for a working seminar dedicated to the preparation of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, in the first half of 2022.

The Minister has invited Mr Heiko Maas, his counterpart from Germany, which holds the current Presidency, to address the French ambassadors.

Our two countries want to ensure their Presidencies of the Council of the European Union are aligned and in synergy, in order to foster a more sovereign, sustainable and inclusive Europe.
