European Union - Matthias Fekl’s participation in the Foreign Affairs Council on trade (Brussels, November 11, 2016)

Matthias Fekl, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, the Promotion of Tourism and French Nationals Abroad, will take part in the Foreign Affairs Council on trade on November 11.

This meeting will be mainly devoted to the modernization of the trade defense instruments and the EU’s new anti-dumping methodology.

This strategy is aimed at ensuring compliance with international trade rules and protecting European industry and jobs from unfair trade practices.

France will also examine the Commission’s proposal regarding the new anti-dumping methodology very carefully, in order to ensure that it will maintain the same level of protection for our economies.
