European Union – Joint visit by Harlem Désir and his British counterpart to the Saclay plateau (February 4, 2015)


Harlem Désir, Minister of State for European Affairs, will tomorrow receive his British counterpart, David Lidington, in order to work on strengthening our bilateral cooperation and to work at the European level to promote growth, employment and innovation.

Mr. Désir and Mr. Lidington will visit the Institut Villebon Charpak (a Paris Tech research and higher education institute) which offers school reintegration and career development programs to young people from underprivileged areas whose education has been interrupted.

They will then go to the Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission, in order to visit the Nano-INNOV research center, which is supported by European funds.
