Discussions will focus on reforming the World Trade Organization, better integrating sustainable development into trade policies, and on the trade and healthcare response to the Covid-19 crisis.

The ministers will address the expansion of small and medium-size businesses on international markets, ways to ensure fair competition at the global level, notably by controls on industrial subsidies, and promoting exchanges in the areas of services and investment.

The Minister Delegate also met this morning with WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala in preparation for the WTO ministerial meeting to be held from November 29 to December 3 in Geneva.
