In its annual report on the morale of US investors in France, released on January 17, the American Chamber of Commerce in France confirms the country’s appeal.
Among the reasons for this are the quality of life and infrastructures, easy access to healthcare services, and the innovativeness and energy of the digital sector, with 81 percent of American leaders identifying France as an attractive destination in this area.
This sentiment was bolstered by yesterday’s announcement in Paris that Facebook would create its very first Startup Garage at Station F, the world’s largest business incubator financed by Xavier Niel and slated to open in April. It was also announced that an innovation lab would be established in partnership with Sciences Po Paris. Five startups have already been selected for a program that will eventually host some 15 fledgling entrepreneurs for six months.
