Matthias Fekl, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, the Promotion of Tourism and French Nationals Abroad, chaired the sixth meeting of the Strategic Council on Exports today at the Quai d’Orsay, which was attended by all stakeholders involved in the internationalization of French firms.
This meeting notably provided an opportunity to work on two topical issues:
- the consequences of the implementation of the EU’s new customs code on May 1, 2016;
- the international challenges associated with sustainable cities featuring a presentation by Gérard Wolf, coordinator for this priority export area.
The participants also prepared for the second SME international forum, which will take place on June 14 and will be attended by 400 business leaders.
