Attractiveness – Opening of the 10th edition of the Etats de la France convention by Matthias Fekl (Paris, November 18, 2015)


Matthias Fekl, minister of state for foreign trade, the promotion of tourism and French nationals abroad, opened the 10th edition of Les Etats de la France" [a convention for economic policy and business leaders and decision-makers] at the Economic, Social and Environmental Council.

He presented the government’s efforts to make France more attractive to the public, companies, and foreign investors. Currently 20,000 foreign businesses employ nearly two million people in France.

135 branch leaders of foreign companies participating in the event published a statement applauding the government’s work since 2012 and calling for the continuation of reforms to boost France’s attractiveness.
