Development - Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne’s participation in the National Council for Development and International Solidarity (23 January 2020)

Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, Minister of State attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, took part in a plenary session of the National Council for Development and International Solidarity (CNDSI), a special forum for consultation with non-state actors on the guidelines, coherence and means of French development policy.

Progress on the draft programming bill on development and the fight against inequalities, the drafting of which involved the CNDSI, and which will be submitted to the Council of Ministers in the first quarter of 2020.

The CNDSI also took stock of the French presidency of the G7 and discussed preparations for the Africa-France Summit due to take place in Bordeaux from June 4 to 6, 2020, which will focus on the theme of sustainable cities and innovation.
