Yemen – Attack at Aden Airport (30 December 2020)

France utterly condemns the attack carried out today at Aden Airport just as the new Yemeni government was arriving. It extends its condolences to the bereaved and wishes the injured a speedy recovery.

France reaffirms its wholehearted support for the new Yemeni government, the recent formation of which is a positive step toward promoting Yemen’s unity and territorial integrity. It reaffirms its commitment to putting an end to the conflict in Yemen through the cessation of hostilities and the relaunching of discussions under UN auspices, with a view toward achieving a comprehensive and inclusive political agreement.
