Vietnam – Meeting between Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne and the Communist Party of Vietnam external relations chairman (Paris, June 4)

Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, Minister of State attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, will receive Communist Party of Vietnam External Relations Chairman Hoang Binh Quan today. This meeting follows the visit by Nguyen Phu Trong, Secretary General of the Communist Party of Vietnam, to France in March 2018, and the visit by the Vietnamese prime minister in November for the celebrations to mark the 45th anniversary of our diplomatic relations and the fifth anniversary of the strategic partnership between France and Vietnam.

The minister of state will reaffirm our desire to strengthen our partnership in the economic and trade spheres, notably in the aerospace and airport infrastructure sector, as well as in the rail and urban transport sector.

Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne will discuss with his interlocutor our projects in the areas of education, culture, health and the environment. He will underscore the success of the French-Vietnamese conferences on decentralized cooperation in April.
