Venezuela’s first “France Week,” spearheaded by the French Embassy in Caracas to showcase France’s attractiveness and excellence, is running from May 11 to 18.
One of the week’s highlights is the “Feria Francia Tuya.” For three days, stands set up on one of Caracas’s main squares will spotlight a wide variety of fields, including France’s economy, technology, scientific research, education, culture, and food.
A number of cultural events are also planned, including a concert by the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra conducted by Bruno Montovani, head of the Paris Conservatory.
The week will conclude with a fashion show featuring Venezuelan talents selected via a competition on the theme of the environment.
