United States – Conversation between Catherine Colonna and Antony Blinken (17 Jun. 2022)

Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna spoke by phone today with her U.S. counterpart, Antony Blinken.

Following President Macron’s visit to Ukraine, the minister and the secretary of state reaffirmed their determination to support Ukraine and to ensure respect for Ukrainian independence and sovereignty.

They also discussed the future NATO summit, which will be held in Madrid on June 28-30, and reiterated their support for Finland and Sweden’s membership in NATO.
