The Consulate General in Chicago will host the second edition of the “A la Carte” French Food Festival from October 19 to 30, in partnership with the French-American Chamber of Commerce, the French Pastry School, the Alliance française and numerous French chefs.
More than 40 restaurants, patisseries, wine distributors and cultural organizations in Chicago and throughout the Midwest will celebrate French cuisine by offering menus, demonstrations, tastings and films inspired by French food and wine.
American chefs will take part in this initiative, which has the support of several French companies.
The event will showcase the city of Lyon; there will be a chance to win a trip for two to this capital of fine dining.
